Dear Families,
The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has launched an
MCAS Family Portal that will allow families to view their student’s current and historic MCAS scores online. Although reaching proficiency on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) is no longer a high school graduation requirement, the MCAS continues to be a valuable data point for our schools when making decisions around curriculum and instruction, and we encourage families to review their student’s MCAS results to better understand their student’s mastery of grade level standards.
The intention of the portal is to offer an additional method of viewing MCAS scores; you will continue to receive MCAS score reports in the mail in the early Fall as we have done in previous school years. At this time, the Portal includes your student’s initial Spring 2026 MCAS scores, with final scores populating over the course of the next few months.
During the month of September, you will receive your child's MCAS Family Portal Registration Code to begin the process of setting up your account.
