Foxborough School Committee Statement on the Current Collective Bargaining Process
The Foxborough School Committee is currently engaged in collective bargaining with its teachers, educational secretaries, educational assistants, food service personnel, and extended-day staff. All of these groups are currently working under collective bargaining agreements which expire just prior to the start of the 2025-2026 school year. Collective bargaining is a process that generally occurs once every three years.
We are providing this portal so that factual information can be shared with everyone in the community. To be perfectly clear, we value all of our devoted school employees and are grateful to them for the very important work they do.
The School Committee has always, and will continue to, bargain in good faith with all of our Unions. We are just coming to the end of three-year agreements. As always, our intention and goal is to come to fair agreements. Agreements that are fair to the employees, fair to the school district, and fair to the taxpayers of Foxborough.
Finally, as with everything we do, we are guided by what is in the best interests of our students.
